“We planned to stay for 3 nights, then stayed for 4, and it was hard to leave. Dave and his team are just wonderful people and we had lots of fun together.”

Dave The Cave is a must-stay! Super friendly staff and beautiful location. There’s also a canoe to go around the lake, a ‘bar’ in the cave and very good food. Thank you Dave, Medie, Henri, Vicky and the others of the staff, for the great stay!

We stayed here for one night camping in our own tent. The staff was so friendly and the food was great. They use a lot of vegables and herbs from their own garden. They also showed us around on their property, the cave and the museum for free. We really loved the sustainable approach they follow and how they took care of us. We could feel that hospitality and care taking of nature were very important to the owner and staff.

After our day in Queen Elizabeth we went to sleep in this amazing hotel, it was a shame that we arrive at night and we left before sunrise because the place same gorgerous. The hotel is situated in a crater lake, with differents wooden cabins arround. Staff were attentive and kindess, and the envoirenment very familiar. They made a bonfire and we talk all togheter around, despite we didn’t know them we talk like a good friends…! So we enjoy a really nice stay.

We stayed here for one night after our visit to QENP, but we would have liked to stay a bit longer. The domain is really nice with the different huts scattered on the domain with view on the lake. Dave and the rest of the staff are very nice and welcoming.
Apart from being close to QENP, you can also enjoy yourself at the Lodge: they have some activities to get to know authentic Uganda a bit better, you can walk around the garden and of course visit the cave.
